Welcome! This is the new website for the newly formed Abergavenny Astronomy Society. Monday 8th November 2010 was our inaugural meeting where around 30 people attended and heard guest speaker Dr Martin Griffiths from Swansea University give a most fascinating talk on 'The Celtic Sky'. A very big thankyou to him from all of us! The evening was a great success with people attending aged from 8 to 80! Thanks also to Ben who is very kindly allowing us to use the cinema area of the Kings Arms for our events.
